This is because if this resource knows the full ins and outs of Snowflake, they would understand it to the level of an Engineer and Architect. -Open Rate - they realize they will need to be open in order to get this person since there are few out there with the Architect AND Engineer / all-hands-on piece. -This person will help with a final execution of a project/implementation. Job Description: 10+ years of experience with Information Technology 7+ years in Data Warehouse and ETL development 4+ years of strong experience in designing and implementing a fully operational solution on Snowflake Data Warehouse Excellent understanding of Snowflake Internals and integration of Snowflake with other data processing and reporting technologies Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities like SnowSQL, SnowPipe, experience in administering Snowflake, experience with data loading from cloud (Azure) & APIs etc. Experience in performance tuning of the snow pipelines and should be able to trouble shoot the issue quickly Experience with creating dbt(data build tool) models for snowflake Analyze, code and performance tuning UDFs, UDTF, Procedures using SQL, Python and/or JavaScript is a big plus Extensive experience in relational as well as NoSQL data stores methods and approaches star and snowflake dimensional modeling Understanding of data transformation and translation requirements Understanding data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud based implementation and Testing and clearly document the requirements to create technical and functions specs Experience with Python a big plus and a major relational database Understanding of RESTful API design Passion for industry best practices and computer programming Willingness to lead create Ideas and be assertive Should be able to demonstrate the proposed solution with excellent communication and presentation skill Engage with onsite offshore team for daily activities Regards Sonali Gupta Technical Recruiter KPG99 INC E: [email protected] Keywords: information technology |
