Title: Technical Lead JAVA and SQL Server Location: Bannockburn, IL (onsite) Duration: 12 Months Summary: We are looking for passionate members to join our team who possess advanced technical, organizational, and communication skills to lead complex projects. As a lead on your projects, you will be expected to work directly with clients to craft technology solutions, gather requirements, and estimate effort required to deliver the solutions. Contribute across the entire development cycle (analysis, POC, design, implementation, testing, initial pilot/production launches, as well as production support). You will be responsible for managing and meeting project timelines and delivery, and to communicate project scope, resource or timeline changes to stakeholders in a timely manner. Your responsibilities include knowledge sharing with peers, mentoring junior team members and help drive improvements and efficiencies within the overall development organization. Role and Responsibilities: Manage to a timeline and communicate to IT and PMO when project scope or timelines change, or additional resources are needed Work with project stakeholders to identify and develop requirements Design, develop, and implement complex database applications using Stored Procedures, User-Defined functions, views, etc. Identify and resolve performance issues with database code Develop database applications using industry-standard security measures Commitment toward continuous improvement of database development practices Lead production support with operational issues including occasional on-call duties Write, maintain, and review functional and technical specifications Create scripts for data integration, data maintenance, and automation Essential Skills: B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related discipline and a minimum of 5 years software development experience required.
