Software Project Solution Architect/Lead Remote As a Software Project Solution Architect/Lead, you are responsible to define and manage the functional scope for our software projects, that may include multiple software platforms/products, to our customer. You will work with a cross-functional team that includes sales, project management, software engineering and customer service to ensure successful delivery of software solutions to our customer. Tasks and Qualifications: Roles & Responsibilities: Lead and support planning requirements for software projects, and continuous improvement Lead business process analysis, develop software functional specifications and conduct requirement workshops Train, mentor and support engineering teams to implement projects from a functional perspective Manage scope and requirement traceability with customer and project team throughout the project Support factory and site acceptance tests with customer Build strong partnerships to align activities, resolve conflicts, and achieve project and business goals 20% travel for direct face-to-face customer workshops and conversations Travel to site during software commissioning phases to ensure that integration testing and site acceptance testing is completed as required Required Skills (Technical Competency): 12+ years of software development and/or programming experience Experience in development of multithreaded applications using C Strong coding experience in C/C++ 5+ years of leading projects/products and project teams experience Knowledge of interposes communications and thread synchronization Knowledge and understanding of Database Design and Programming (Microsoft SQL, Oracle) Knowledge and understanding of Windows platform development General knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST), Socket Programming Familiarity with Jira and Confluence Experience with GitLab, Sub-Version Education & Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline or equivalent experience/training with certification Nice to Have: 1+ years of industrial automation industry experience (WMS or WCS) a plus Keywords: cprogramm cplusplus |
