In this role you will be responsible to install, maintain, and upgrade IBM and 3rd Party products in a mainframe z/OS environment using SMP/E and zOSMF. This is a long-term contract (1-3 years) where you can really impact your career. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinates across support teams to quickly resolve Incidents and disruptions to technology services, performs root cause analysis, and takes preventative measures. Proactively identifies and addresses vulnerabilities across the technology environment. Work with vendors on hardware and software fixes. Works with application development and support teams to assist in delivery of solutions. To be successful; you should possess most of the following: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 8+ years recent experience as a Z/OS Engineer (and other mainframe systems) Experience working with IBM products specifically mainframe z/OS operating systems Experience installing and maintaining z/OS using SMP/E and zOSMF.
