Job Description: ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Assess, Architect and Implement Network Security Solutions Develop a broad and detailed understanding of the organizations risk landscape, culture and technology Identify & evaluate Key Risk Indicators against risk appetite Track and monitor Controls & Key Risk identifiers Identify process gaps, control deficiencies, and/or recommend and oversee effective solutions Coordinate with senior management in performing operational risk reviews and report operational risk issues and decisions to senior management on regular basis Investigate root causes of operational risks and provide support to mitigate risk Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and business partners by addressing issues/concerns in timely manner and supports a culture of risk-based decisions Keep abreast of latest risk management techniques and industry best practices. Oversee the application of operational risk policies and procedures, technology and tools, and governance processes to create lasting solutions for minimizing losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risks Assess risks and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices Establishes and maintains a robust control environment and culture EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 8+ years of work experience in Information Technology security or similar capacities BA/BS in Information Systems or similar field Experience driving projects end-to-end independently, including evaluating, defining and improving end-to-end processes Experience being independent, results oriented, and thorough in examination and analysis Experience influencing stakeholders and partner teams, especially in collaborating with different individuals across the organization Communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders and demonstrated attention to detail SANS or CISSP certification in areas of Security strategy & roadmap development, Enterprise security, Access Management, and Risk Management Experience with MFA and AWS Regards.
