High Level Job Description: They are looking for a techno-functional consultant to come in, do the work, guide and train their current team on Account Certification and Close modules within the WD financial package Additional Information from the hiring managers: Add account certification into Workday that will replace Trintech/Cadency Update the close management business process in Workday through checklists, to dos, etc. Can you provide some additional information on what you need Account certification reconciliation - what is the scope i.e. number of account certifications -800 (monthly, quarterly, etc) Number of preparers (accountants) 30-35 Are balance sheet recons currently done off line Yes Do you intend to utilize Workday worksheets Probably not Close management process What is your month end close duration Accounting close process is 5 days, Pre/Post close tasks are 20-25 BD How is the current process managed e.g., blackline, excel, manual Trintech Cadency Close module for tracking Close tasks How many steps are in the process today 475-480 tasks (monthly, quarterly, etc) Do you need a formal close process flow/document yes How many accountants are involved in the close process 45-50 How many entities are involved Working with 6 entities in the Close Task process.
