Hiring Mode: TP/FTE Location: Remote Note: We need a candidate having Strong knowledge in CICS and MQs. The candidate should have Good exposure to DB2, JCL,VSAM. He/she must have good programming and logical skills using COBOL. Good to have Production Support experience. Job Description: Over 8+ years of experience in Mainframe Application development, Good Knowledge and experience with: z/OS, TSO/ISPF, Cobol, CICS, JCL in mainframe environment Experience in TSO/ISPF, File Aid / File Manager, Expeditor/IBM Debugger and other MVS Utilities Experience in building and standing up the CICS region and work with support team to fix any application or systemic issues Experience in LPAR management, mainframe storage and tape subsystem is a plus Perform z/OS debugging, SVC dumps and benchmark the CICS region capacity Write COBOL code to build and enhance applications/services and promote code-reviews, code scanning, and other standard development practices to deliver high-quality artifacts to production. Define, design, and develop procedures and solutions at a service level to meet the business requirements/enhancements Familiar with secure coding standard and vulnerability management Drive prioritization decisions and trade-offs in working with product partners Identify opportunities and build roadmaps to enhance primary service/function and isolate services Automate and simplify all aspects of software delivery and development actively evangelizing the need to automate and simplify where needed.
