| From: sunil, ICS [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Sybase ASE SQL Developer Duration: 6+ Months Location: REMOTE Roles and Responsibilities Design, development and testing of database SQL programs ensuring their functionality, stability, reliability, and performance. Data modeling of database schemas, tables and other objects. Develop complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, views and triggers to support application development as per user requirement. Troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to database application systems. Prepare documentations for database applications. Write UNIX shell scripts to deploy any automation of database changes to environments. Source code control system for check-in and check-out Understand and triage maintenance related issues to the database team Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues to meet client SLAs. Provide technical expertise to support teams in the analysis, design, and support of business applications. Multi task and prioritize activities to complete tasks and objectives independently. Major Requirements BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 8+ years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role Has completed multiple Enterprise level projects and independent, Expert in the subject Strong hands-on SQL development skills (Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views), analytical functions. Clear understanding of the logical and physical database design (for both transactional and data warehouse) and data normalization concepts. Experience in analyzing & tuning SQL code and skills to identify and remediate SQL code issues including procedures and functions. Exposure to Unix/Linux Enterprise level Environment including UNIX shell scripting. Experience in Change Management and Agile software development methodology Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on companys success Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Team player & having good time-management skills Good interpersonal and communication skills.
