About the Role We are seeking an experienced IBM FileNet Migration Consultant to lead the planning, execution, and documentation of enterprise content management system migrations as part of a large-scale data center relocation. You will work across multiple IBM platforms including FileNet P8, Content Manager, Integration Broker, DataStage, DB2, and WebSphere to ensure a secure, stable, and minimally disruptive transition to the new facility. What You'll Do IBM FileNet P8 on AIX 7.2 Design and implement a secure, scalable FileNet environment on upgraded AIX infrastructure to support enterprise document management at the target data center Build clustered server and database configurations that can be validated before, during, and after migration Develop and execute migration plans to transfer FileNet content, workflows, and configurations with minimal downtime Test end-to-end document workflows and approval processes to confirm performance, stability, and data integrity Validate message broker integrations and downstream application connectivity in the new environment Coordinate phased workload transitions across DEV, UAT, and PROD environments Maintain thorough documentation of all application and infrastructure changes for compliance and auditability IBM Content Manager (CM 8.7.x) on AIX 7.2 Build a consolidated, resilient Content Manager environment supporting secure archiving and retrieval in the target data center Configure supporting databases, storage allocations, and content repositories with reliable connectivity and compliance controls Design and execute the migration of Content Manager workloads, including security roles and metadata Test large document ingestion, classification, and retrieval functions in the new environment Validate event-driven messaging flows to ensure correct document triggers and workflow routing Coordinate a phased production cutover, managing user transition and workload balancing Integration Broker (IIB) 200+ Applications Architect an updated Integration Broker environment to support message flow consolidation during data center migration Configure execution groups and message schemas to accommodate applications transitioning to the new site Design secure cross-site data exchange routing for pre-, during-, and post-migration phases Test critical business message flows under simulated loads to verify integrity and transaction reliability Validate compatibility between modernized broker infrastructure and existing legacy applications Lead failover testing and traffic cutover to new brokers at the target data center AHRA Broker Integration Build dedicated broker infrastructure tailored for AHRA's specialized messaging requirements Design resilient message flows, routing logic, and approval processes for secure multi-stage transactions Test long-running message flows and exception handling across environments Validate queue bindings and broker configurations in the new data center Coordinate stakeholder communications and manage cutover planning IBM Info Sphere DataStage ETL on AIX 7.3 Configure and migrate ETL pipelines and job schedules to the new data center with minimal downtime Test data movement accuracy, transformation logic, and performance in the target environment Validate connectivity between ETL jobs and relocated databases Coordinate ETL job cutover aligned with production readiness and business schedules IBM DB2 11.5 ECM Backend Build optimized database schemas, storage layouts, and role configurations for ECM workloads at the new site Design and execute a secure, accurate data migration strategy for DB2 Test high-volume transaction loads and data consistency post-migration Validate database services for FileNet, Content Manager, and DataStage in the target environment Coordinate database cutover plans for dependent applications WebSphere ND Middleware Build a clustered WebSphere ND environment to support all integrated ECM applications at the new data center Configure secure middleware, including certificates and service integrations, ready for relocation Test application deployments, security contexts, and load balancing after migration Validate all service integration buses and shared resources in the new environment Coordinate phased application transitions to maintain transaction continuity and user experience Required Qualifications 4+ years migrating large-scale, complex FileNet environments using DB2 and Oracle databases 4+ years building and managing IBM Content Manager environments, including MSAR (Magnetic Storage and Retrieval) and Snaplock migrations 4+ years troubleshooting, monitoring, and debugging FileNet MSS synchronization between Production and Disaster Recovery Image Services 4+ years with IBM Content Navigator and FileNet P8 migration planning and execution 4+ years designing and implementing upgrades and migrations of document services systems from AIX to Linux platforms Keywords: card New York North Dakota 100% INTERVIEW || IBM FileNet || Brooklyn ny and ny || [email protected] http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=3278144&uid=cc44e79625ee4bcb87f3c273711b9f31 |
