Job Description Title: Content Engineer OR Content WRITER Location: FULLY REMOTE Visa: No H1B,CPT's Duration: 6+ months End Client: FM Global Must have Linkedin and genuine Visa Need a Content Engineer or Content Developer with a technical background (so someone who has worked with Java, .Net, C# and really understands software development) They want to come up with a comprehensive review of how FM Global develops software (all internal use) What are all the tasks that need to be done and how to do them They have a ton of content scattered now so they wants someone who can help organize this o Taxonomy/oncology side o Best way to organize/structure/search/presentable o Using Wiki format markdown files, content management systems, excel, word docs VERY solid understanding the software development (#1 thing) This person will be creating a lot of documents Preference for C#, .net, JavaScript languages ADO will be good using this and GIT to store artifacts Unique role for a 1-off project They want to come up with a comprehensive review of how FM Global develops software (all internal use) What are all the tasks that need to be done and how to do them They have a ton of content scattered now so they wants someone who can help organize this o Taxonomy/oncology side o Best way to organize/structure/search/presentable o Using Wiki format markdown files, content management systems, excel, word docs VERY solid understanding the software development (#1 thing) This person will be creating a lot of documents Preference for C#, .net, JavaScript languages ADO will be good using this and GIT to store artifacts Client Sizzle (Why might someone want to work here) One of the best employers in the state of Rhode Island They are an innovative company that is employee-centric. Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and Continuous Integration/Delivery. Create, design, and update structured content. Take a big picture view of large amounts of content, determining the content information model and the best way to simplify the authoring process for this content. Coordinate with subject matter experts, product owners, business analysts, design team members, and technical operations teams to ensure that the correct information is received by the appropriate parties and the content structure produced is accurate and following clearly defined standards, (which may also be created, contributed to, and set forth in practice). Develop structured content for a variety of products and initiatives. Familiarity with the creation, design, and updating of structured content and component-based content models using XML/Dita. Familiarity with Docusaurus or TridionDoc CCMS. Not needed but highly useful: exposure to C#, JavaScript, and programming fundamentals.
