Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, handle their software, hardware and network configuration, ensuring all issues are properly logged Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools Manage LAN & WAN connectivity services Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability (including maintenance weekend - one Saturday, once a month) Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies Write and maintain custom scripts to increase efficiency through automation Participate in the design of information, budget planning, and operational support systems Work with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Asset management Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals Prioritize and manage several projects and trouble tickets open issues at one time BREAKDOWN: Connectivity & Network Management (10%) o Local Area Network o Internet connection o WiFi o VPN / Remote connectivity End user support (40%) o End-user hardware (Laptop, Desktops, desk phone) o Computer Software / Applications o End-user training Systems Administration / Management (35%) o Office 365 apps (Email, SharePoint, Teams, Skype, Azure AD) o Phone System (Extension Management, Call Routing Scripts, Chat Scripts) o Private Cloud (SAN, Cluster, Virtual Host) o Server Hardware Infrastructure o Asset Management and Inventory o Backup management o Other server applications System Setup & Project Implementation (15%) Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in desktop support, field technician support, application support, or junior systems administration.
