Position:                ServiceNow Developer

Location:               Fully Remote (must work CST schedule)

Visa:                       No H1b

Industry:               Food & Beverage

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participation in requirement gathering phases to provide time estimation to users' needs.

Analyzing technical development requirements.

Create and update the existing configuration documentation.

Deploying solutions in a test environment and doing the required testing before moving it to production to ensure quality.

Implement best practices in coding and design as per ServiceNow standards and community guidelines.

Follow the ITIL process to develop solutions.

Find opportunities to automate and enhance the end-user experience.

Scripting in various areas (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Access Control Lists, Ul Policies, Portal Pages, UI Pages).

Reporting and Dashboards set up.

Knows how to configure flows or workflows.

Should have experience in Service Catalog development.

Writing code using JavaScript, HTML, Angular, CSS, and AJAX.

Develop integrations with 3rd party tools or ServiceNow to ServiceNow integration with Scripted and OOB REST API and SOAP web Services.

Technical solution validation before deployment.

Train and provide knowledge transfers to new members of the team.

Support Go-live and hyper care phases.

Does Technical Assessment of new plugins installation and configuration to setup business Process

Contribute to ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and release management cycle.

Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, standards, agile working methodologies, and tools while ensuring adherence to coding and quality standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders and members of the team.

Know end-to-end ServiceNow ITBM solutions in ServiceNow.

Guide junior members of the team when required.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML/CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, Web Services, etc.).

Experience and deep understanding of ServiceNow Workflows and Flow Designer tools.

Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, DevOps, and SecOps.

Good understanding of ITIL processes.

Good understanding of agile and hybrid Project Management methodologies.

Knowledge of ServiceNow instance design and administration.

Experience in an enterprise environment with multiple integration points.

Strong analytical skills to identify problems and recommend solutions that meet business requirements.

Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with users, stakeholders, and team members.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.

Must be a team player to work with architects, platform administrators, and process owners.

Experience in ServiceNow administration and development.

Hands-on development, management, and deployment experience with ServiceNow.

Troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Must know tools like Excel, Visio, and other Microsoft products.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:

At least 5/+ years' experience in developing and administrating the ServiceNow Platform.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or another related field (or equivalent work experience).

Broad exposure to IT infrastructure and application landscape, ideally with technical depth in a discipline/ITSM process.

Certifications Preferred:

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM).

ITIL v4 Foundation.
