Now,DevOps experience/knowledge is good to have, but they are not looking for pureDevOps Engineers. Three Keys: 1. Sr LevelEngineer with atleast 5 years AWS and/or Azure Cloud Engineering buildingpolicies, procedures,etc. (not day to day support activities), knowledge ofInfrastructure, cloudsecurity, and DevOps 2. Coding,scripting, automationskills (python, JavaScript, shell, Ruby, etc.) and DevOps,CI/CD knowledge andexperience (Azure Pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, AWS Vault,etc.) 3. Must haveexcellentcommunication skills, ability to lead conversations with other teamsto driveprojects/cloud initiatives; Must be independent, willingness tolearn,curious/ability to ask questions, will do the research to findthesolution(s) % Breakdown ofResponsibilities: 1. 40% Contribute to architecture, design, integration of automation,continuous integration, orchestration and other Cloud solutions 2. 30% Research new tools, technologies, solutions to improveexisting processes and procedures 3. 30% other assigned tasks - 7 plus years incomplex systems design andimplementations with cloud providers - Experience withmigrating key applications tocloud providers -Experience withprivate and public cloud designand deployment and management -Proficiencyinautomation/orchestration/continuous integration (DevOps) -Proficiency inscripting/programming (Shells,Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, PowerShell) -Proficiency incloud management solutions(Ansible, Cloud Forms) -Proficiency inAWS design and implementations -Proficiency withOpen Source technologies andmethodologies -Experience withcloud role-based access controls. -Knowledgeable ofthe capabilities and limitationsof major cloud providers.
