Collaborate with development, test, and product/developer relations teams to define best practices and business goals. Creating automation solutions, designing frameworks, and leading the strategy for increased productivity, quality implementation aligned to business goals. Responsibilities Technology Leader for Google cloud initiatives: Collaborate with customers and product teams to strategize & align solutions for cloud adoption including roadmap, tools, and design. Understand the customer requirements, current state of solutions and define the vision of the future. Provide expertise to assist customers in implementing and solutioning Identify gaps and efficiencies from a technical and functional perspective and be the evangelist for both external customers and internal engineering teams. Solutions: GCP teams for various GCP Cloud programs including Certifications, Partner engineering, Marketplace, and other Cloud platform solutions. Advocating the customer's perspective during product and architecture planning. Primary Skills Certified Cloud Architect either of GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred). Application Migration (Moving to cloud) that includes Platform Migration / Data Migration / and App migration Modernization strategies Possess Strong Cloud Implementation Experience in Cloud architecture/design, Compute/Storage/Network services. Containers: Docker; Preferred: Container orchestration - Kubernetes, GKE, ECS Experience with private, hybrid or public cloud technology Other Skills Desired Compute: Docker Apps, Kubernetes, Cloud Function, AppEngine Preferred: Experience in understanding Clusters/HA based parallel design/multi-region architectures Cloud automation: Terraform, Ansible, Salt, Puppet Familiarity with functional operations of server, storage, and network functions. Experience migrating Windows or Linux environments to public cloud Virtualization experience (VMware, Xen, HyperV) Database understanding: Oracle, DB2, MySql; Preferred: NoSql DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB and Cloud Databases Understand multi-Cloud/multi-zone-based designs.
