Title: Java Micro services Engineer Location: Westlake, TX - 1 week per month Duration: 12-month contract-to-hire Visa: USC or GC MOI: phone then Skype JOB DESCRIPTION: Qualification Requirements: Bachelor level degree in Computer Science, Engineering or another technical field Experience working with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, operating systems, and platforms Strong technical design skills and experience with object-oriented design Solid understanding of databases Significant experience developing Restful APIs At least 4 years of Java programming experience Significant Spring Boot Experience with gRPC APIs is very desirable Experience with micro services and event-based architecture is very desirable Experience with Kubernetes and other cloud technologies is very desirable Experience with Agile Methodologies Ability to quickly learn and adopt diverse technologies and engineering practices Interest in learning new business processes on a continual basis Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
