This is a long-term opportunity. The opportunity requires the candidate to be able to work in a REMOTE fashion, with occasional meetings ON-SITE in Richmond, VA. Candidate Applying must be living closer to Richmond, VA area within a 50 Mile Radius (Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia Area) Must have 5+ Years of Experience in application development. 5+ Years of Experience in MVC, C#.net, VB.net, ASP.net, Oracle and/or SQL 5+ Years of Experience with Entity Framework, jQuery, Ajax 4+ Years of knowledge in web development and design ( ASP, NET, HTML, XML), system development and design (SQL Server, ODBC, VB, ACCESS, Conceptual/Physical Data Models, VisualStudio,.NET.) 2+ Years of Experience in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Apps Portals) and Azure Job Responsibilities Work with the current development team to quickly learn the client's base system to support and expand it. Develop and Support web-based .Net applications as part of the Enterprise Solutions that enable the client and Commonwealth Agencies to effectively manage technology investments, programs, and projects. Ensure development is done in compliance with commonwealth & security; database and application standards. Work closely with Data Architects and Applications Architects to ensure application performance and throughput targets are maintained. Design, develop, and implement efficient WEB applications Develop program specifications through analysis; interact with a wide range of persons, i.e., technical staff, vendors, administrators, and end users; communicate both orally and in writing. Communicate with people at their professional level/area of expertise, e.g., giving bottom line analysis to management Provide technical analysis, and user documentation, and coordinate changes for legacy .net applications as well as for new enterprise solutions.
