Position: Workstation System Engineer Location: Located in Manhattan, NY- this is hybrid onsite 3 days a week and 2 days remote Duration: 6-12 months contract Job Description: Must Haves: Windows server security remediation and patch management via SCCM (Windows 2012-2019) Support for application patching / security package deployment VMware Horizon Citrix Summary of position The successful candidate will join our User Infrastructure team as a consulting Systems Engineer to assist with workstation infrastructure maintenance, support, and security remediation backlog. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Financial industry with a solid knowledge of core infrastructure technologies such as Microsoft Operating systems, Virtualization (VMware and Citrix), SCCM, scripting (Power), and will poses excellent communication, coordination and documentation skills Essential duties and responsibilities: Virtualization Infrastructure Operational support for VMware environment as applicable to workstation support and security remediation Operational support for Citrix environment as applicable to install patches/deploy applications.
