Documents development requirements for database, applications, and operation system environment. Consults with end users to test and debug applications to meet client needs. Serves as expertise in all aspects of designing and application development. May conduct training to IT Staff. Requires a bachelor's degree and may be expected to have an advanced degree in area of specialty and 8 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor or specialist. The purpose of this request is to procure developer/analyst services for ODOT Information Systems Branch to support the Crash Data System Update project. The primary tasks the contractor will perform are as follows: The Contractor shall: Document business needs for application changes Analyze system functionality and recommend scope of changes Create a specification for the new functionality Design and modify the Crash Data System software to meet requirements Create and execute testing plan, implementation plan, and post-implementation support for the application Communicate project status, work progress, issues, and risks Update system and user documentation to reflect the changes Other tasks, as needed, to support the implementation of the modified system Strong analysis skills Strong oral and written communication skills Experience developing solution and operational documentation Experience building and modifying n-tier applications Experience programming in Visual Basic, .NET, and C# Experience with relational database management systems, including MS SQL server Keywords: csharp information technology microsoft |
