ROLE: Application developer Python and IaaS Location: Charlotte, NC Onsite Responsibilities This is a major platform initiative which will set the pace and direction for Analytics Data Lake 2.0 is a multi-year program aimed at modernizing legacy analytics platforms. As we move away from legacy platforms, there remains a gap for analytics in the cloud. That means it takes longer than necessary for analytics teams to find the data they need to do their jobs. Once they find data, access can be challenging. In this role you will: Work with serverless cloud services to create integrations, APIs endpoints and related components Work on features and POCs with industry-leading technologies and tools Work on greenfield space to shape the modernization efforts for the analytics ecosystem Create automated tests for functional, performance, and security in order to ensure flexibility over time. Work alongside multiple lines of business and platform teams Create custom integrations between existing Vanguard tools, AWS components, and vendor products. Qualifications Experience and technologies that you will work with: Scripting & Programming: Python 5+ years experience 5+ years experience with Infrastructure as a Service 3+ years experience with building serverless applications AWS Core Services: Cloudformation, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Athena AWS Serverless Infrastructure: Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway, Application Load Balancer Nice to have: AWS Associate or Professional Certification EMR knowledge Docker & Kubernetes You care about software quality and maintainability You have an interest in serverless architecture You want to shape the Analytics modernization effort enterprise wide Keywords: sthree information technology North Carolina |
