| From: Nitu, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: Data Architect Location: Remote/CA/GA Duration: Long-term The Expert Data Architect will design and implement scalable data solutions using the latest and advanced technology and toolsets. This role offers the right candidate the rare opportunity to leverage their extensive background in data modeling, database tuning, data repositories, and data pipeline creation to build and maintain a data management platform to support the organization's Data Governance program. The role will also be responsible for working closely with business partners and IT leadership to understand the organization's business requirements and work with the broader IT team to build a platform that will support the current needs and scale to accommodate future growth. As part of Enterprise Data Architecture Team, you will help creating a brand-new Enterprise Architecture to design Enterprise Data Models and develop design specifications to consolidate disparate data across the enterprise and help build sematic data layers to enable single source of truth for insights and reporting utilizing cloud native tools and technologies in collaboration with our Data Governance CoE & Business partners. How you will make an impact: Evaluates and leads the selection of new data management components, in partnership with IT and other key stakeholders, to integrate into the existing ecosystem including software, platforms, databases, ETL tools, data modeling tools, visualization and reporting tools, advanced analytics tools, data science platforms and tools, etc. Partners with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, and AppDev teams on capabilities, technologies, vendors, roadmaps, and solutioning Implements capabilities data ingestion, transformation, integration, curation, publishing, analysis and visualization of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data Designs, enhances, and maintains conceptual and logical data models and data flows for the enterprise Defines, develops and institutes robust, quality processes to implement data changes and database modifications Functions as architect in SAFe Agile scrum teams working on data projects and products Facilitates and supports feasibility studies, proof of concepts, pilot projects and testing Oversees the design of data solutions by 3rd party vendors when appropriate, in partnership with AppDev teams This list is not all-inclusive, and you are expected to perform other duties as requested or assigned What we look for: 8-10 +years of experience with Bachelors Degree Extensive hands-on experience in designing and building end-to-end data processing platforms using known technologies and cloud platforms Expertise in gathering requirements from business users / stakeholders and effectively translating them into robust data models Knowledgeable about the current landscape of data warehouse and data lake solutions. Able to evaluate competing data solutions and select the best option for data ingestion, storage, reporting, visualization, analytics, microservices, and APIs given the current and future needs of the organization Experience with Data Visualization tools- (Tableau/Power BI) Experience in leading the development and delivery of data warehouse, data management, Big Data, and data integration solutions Preferred Skills- Master Data Management with EBX preferably Experience with Databases (Oracle/SQL), Snowflake preferably Experience with Programming languages- T-SQL/Python preferably Keywords: business intelligence information technology California Georgia |
