OVERVIEW: The Senior Web Administrator role is a missioncritical role to support the Digital Transformation initiatives through thedesign, implementation, and support of critical applications in cloud and onpremises. The person fulfilling this role will manage the CICD lifecycle forapplication deployment strategies leveraging technologies (but not limited to) SQLServer, Dynatrace, and .NET Core, NodeJS, Angular Frameworks. This position plays a critical role in gathering and analyzingrequirements, designing, and deploying the required components, andtroubleshooting and optimizing configuration to maximize the performance andthroughput the components. This role is a crucial part to create a comprehensive, state-of-the-artweb application hosting platform. Senior Web Administrator to develop, implement and apply best practicesto align with the organizations digital transformation efforts in leveragingcloud native patterns to build highly available application on prem and in thecloud. Responsible for leading and evaluatingcritical system design to support highly visible LOB applications. Building and securing highly available cloudand on-premises infrastructure environment resources. Automating and standardizing CI/CDprocesses for application deployment and infrastructure as codeimplementations. Installation, configuration, and overallmanagement lifecycle of large-scale Microsoft IIS web clusters. Provide guidance and recommendations toenhance and tailor cloud development processes related to continuousintegration/deployment. Provide recommendations based on Cloud Nativeprincipals to help application transformations to leverage cloud computing models. Responsible for analyzing complex managementsystems, infrastructure, product integration and implementation and deploymentof enterprise-wide strategies for configuration management, automation,provisioning, operations, monitoring, maintenance, and customer service. Investigate and troubleshoot applicationperformance and functional issues, performs root cause analysis, developsaction plans for resolution, resolves problems and issues, documentsresolutions, and disseminates conclusions. Develops and updates system administrationprocedures and works closely with other IT resources including businessanalysts, project analysts and server operations. Assists in the analysis of businessrequirements and identifies appropriate technologies to implement effectivesolutions and optimize productivity. Research emerging technologies in the Internethardware and software arenas, implements proof-of-concept deployments and makesrecommendations for adoption of new technologies and tools. Responsible for leading the assessment,evaluation, planning, architecture and design, integration, and implementationof critical application monitoring systems, including Splunk, customizedscripting using PowerShell, and Dynatrace. Works with business partners to understandrequirements and translate them into system specifications.
