Job Title: System Engineer Duration : 6 MonthCTH Location : Remote(Dallas,TX) M.O.I.: Video Skills: LOCALCANDIDATE PREFERRED EssentialFunctions/Duties/Responsibilities Seamlessly multi-task in a fast-paced technology environment Thorough understanding of current technology infrastructure systems and applications Work within a team of network and systems engineers to configure, administer, and support all technology infrastructure Ensure 24x7 availability of technology infrastructure Seek, recommend, and implement tools and processes to improve performance, automation and security continuously Create and maintain technical documentation to ensure efficient planning, execution, and troubleshooting Perform troubleshooting and remediation, ensures successful project implementation, and provide post-project end-user support Coach and mentor junior or less experienced team members when necessary Competencies: Ability and passion to analyze complex business processes and understand the details and concepts The ability to learn quickly Detail and task-oriented Excellent communication skills, written and oral Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including robust troubleshooting skills with a focus on preventative actions and root cause analysis Supervisory Responsibility: This role will not have supervisoryresponsibilities. Qualifications and Experience: At least 5 years of experience performing system engineering and/or network engineering functions, supporting, troubleshooting, and performance analysis of industry-standard technology infrastructure products At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server, including Active Directory At least 3 years of experience with VMWare, Xen, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technology At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online At least 2 years of experience with public cloud providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) Experience with network, operating system, and application monitoring suites. Demonstrated technical competency in 3 or more of the following areas o Microsoft Windows Server System andActive Directory Domain Services o DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP o Automation, scripting, and monitoringutilities in the Windows stack, including PowerShell and VBScript o IaaS/PaaS providers including Azure,Amazon Web Services, and Salesforce o Backup disaster recovery technologies o Dell/EMC Storage Arrays Preferred Skills: Applied knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP Microsoft, VMWare or other senior-level technical certifications a plus Regards!!
