TITLE: Mid-level Ruby on Rails Engineer LOCATION: Remote DURATION: 6 months Visa: GC/USC/EAD JOB DESCRIPTION: Required Skills / Experience: At least eight (5 ) years of experience as a software engineer 4 Years of experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails Experience with JavaScript (Front end is written in React - don't need hands-on experience there but some familiarity would be a plus | Some utilities written in NodeJS - familiarity with this or other JS tools would be a plus) Experience with IAC tools (they'll most likely start with Terraform, but are okay with someone having experience with other IAC tools like Ansible or Chef Puppet) Experience with container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes Deployment experience Cloud experience (preferably AWS) Experience working on an Agile team and demonstrating an Agile mindset Experience in an open-source, collaborative development environment Additional desired qualifications Experience with polyglot programming, using multiple languages, leveraging strengths of each language Experience with Postgres DB and Redis Experience with continuous integration/deployment systems, Jenkins or Git hub Actions Experience working with Git Hub or other git repositories Familiarity with the US Web Design System Experience working in or with government agencies, especially the VA You are a U.S. Veteran Best Regards, Prajojita Biswal Technical Recruiter, Vyze Inc.
