COMPLETE JOB DESCRIPTION IS BELOW FOR YOUR REVIEW: JOB DETAILS: Role: Mobile Tester with Charles Proxy Location: Farmington Hills, MI(Day 1 onsite) Contract Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities: Provide risk analysis, prioritization, and scheduling of regression test efforts Provide regular and accurate reports Manager and perform special projects, and other duties as necessary. ReseClienth and recommend new approaches to solve strategic issues Communicate test status and impediments to stakeholders Contribute to regression test cycle plan and implementation Create regular and accurate reports of QA teams efforts Create, execute, and record test cases and test results Report defects in JIRA Create template for logging defects and define processes for other team members to follow Perform log analysis and troubleshooting using Charles Proxy and other native debugging tools Utilize automated test reports and determine defect status/priority. Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this job Minimum Qualifications: A BSEE or BSCS or equivalent is required. MSEE or MSCS or equivalent preferred. 5 years of successful, relevant software development and validation experience. Acceptable product areas include: o Automotive sound manufacturers (radio head units, CD Players, telematics systems, navigation systems, etc.) o Android or iOS Apps o Mobile telephone systems o Satellite receivers o Automotive engine controllers o Blue Tooth and / or WiFi products Requirements and General Skills: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels Strong organizational skills and attention to details Good public speaking and presentation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to pay attention to details and be organized Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person Commitment to internal client and customer service principles Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills Must have legal right to work in the U.S. Technical Skills: Familiarity with REST HTTP protocols Familiarity with Behavior-Driven-Methodologies for automated test; Ability to understand Gherkin language a major plus Familiarity of software testing and test methodologies Expertise in creating functional test cases Familiarity with defect management tools (JIRA and JAMA) Familiarity with Windows, Android and Linux-based Operating Systems Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
