To succeed in this role, you should have a deep interest in securing modern computing platforms, a desire to continuously learn new technologies, strong conceptual thinking and communication skills, and the ability to work well under minimal supervision. Experience reviewing violations of cyber security processes and procedures and have a strong understanding of firewalls, proxies, Security Information and Event Management (SIEMs), antivirus, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) concepts, as well as the ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them. Bonus Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in design and development of security architecture across security domains, software design, networking, or cloud infrastructure. Experience securing a public cloud environment (preferably AWS), building software utilizing a public cloud, and working with threat modeling and software security architecture is preferred. In addition, you should have experience with application security, penetration testing and vulnerability management, offensive and/or defensive security techniques. Required Certifications: Completed Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect and/or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are REQUIRED.
