| From: Bharath, Agile Enterprises solutions Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position- ETRM Business Analyst Location- Parsippany, NJ, Onsite 100 %from day one Duration: FTE and contractor Must Skill: - 8 plus years of knowledge or experience with several of the following applications or business areas: Energy Trading and Risk Management, Right Angle, Petroleum Logistics, Credit, Treasury, Contracts, Plant Accounting, Gas Marketing, Pricing, Energy Exchanges Significant business analysis and configuration experience with RightAngle Strong commodity exposure including crude oil and refined products Understanding of Accounting and Trading roles - Strong work experience with requirements, business processes, configuration, and support with OpenLink RightAngle Good understanding of the business concepts and capabilities of the RightAngle package Results-oriented with excellent communication, writing, interpersonal, verbal, and organizational skills. Strong reading and listening comprehension skills. Provide solutions for system design, implementation, and business process improvements - Perform gap analysis and identify process improvements through changes in practice, standardization or through IT automation Gather requirements for new enhancements and custom reports; work with IT to develop functional specifications and work closely with the technical support or system vendor to get the requests and enhancements tested and implemented Develop new and support existing RightAngle processes, reports and interfaces in SQL Server, .NET, C# and PowerBuilder environments within SolArc's RightAngle architecture Good to have skill: Investigate and resolve issues reported by system users Communicate effectively with business users to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions Provide monthly accounting close support; ensure that closes are completed on a timely manner Partner with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues Conduct reviews to ensure business requirements are met Work with developer debugging and providing resolutions for issues Troubleshoot custom reports and processes when issues arise Help users develop test plans, coordinate testing and conduct UATs with users for new requests, enhancements, patching and upgrades Ability to evaluate and understand business processes and strategies and how those relate to new or existing technologies. Work directly with users to identify and resolve issues adversely impacting business processes. Responsible for analysis of business requirements, testing, training, and implementation of solutions leveraging commercial and supporting systems. Partner with business teams on efficiency, effectiveness, and customer experience improvement opportunities. -Develop customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer; anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
