Role - Network Engineer Location - Chicago IL (100% Day 1 Onsite) Contract Required Skills: Switching & Routing Cisco, Palo Alto Internet Gateway, Cisco SD WAN Job Description: Datacentre/remote office and restaurant business experience Design and Implementation o Layer 2/3 technologies VLANs, vPC, Segmentation o Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco SD-WAN architecture and implementation o SD-WAN experience preferred with Cisco Viptella o Cisco NX-OS, Cisco ACI a plus o Firewalls (Palo Alto,) . Understanding of OTV and Datacentre/ Interconnections o WAN technologies, point to point, MPLS, DMVPN, IPSEC VPN, SD-WAN including QoS o SD-WAN Policy based routing o Design of network management tools and monitoring tools performance such as packet loss, committed information rate and/or throughput in addition to up/down status Experience in Migration of existing network services to newly implemented network services o Skills in Python for ACI scripting purposes, other scripting languages a plus o Riverbed or other WAN acceleration implementation experience Deep experience BGP and EGIRP, OSPF routing protocols including (NTP, DHCP,) Deep understanding of Polices and design of Quality of Service (QoS/Cos) Network Management NetFlow, SPAN, SNMP, Logging, Deep understanding of Role Based Access control such as Cisco ISE or Active Directory integration Automation experience is a plus, such as automated network device Intrusion detection and IPS a plus Firewall writing and understanding a plus Required Qualifications: Extensive network architecting experience with Palo Alto firewall and Cisco NX-OS including Cisco Viptela Keywords: information technology Illinois South Dakota |
