This is a long-term opportunity. The opportunity requires the candidate to be able to work in a REMOTE fashion during Normal East Coast Business Hours. Must have Bachelors in computer science, IT, systems engineering or similar 8+ Years of Experience implementing technical, administrative and physical security solutions to mitigate risk. 8+ Years of NIST 800-53 Experience 5+ Years of Experience in cyber security engineering duties such as architecture design, system planning 5+ Years of Proficiency in PowerShell. 3+ Years of Experience as a CISSP Certified Professional. Job Responsibilities The role will be responsible for conducting a risk-focused review of locality reports and analysis of potential security solutions This individual would be involved in multiple activities requiring a high degree of security expertise and technical agility including assessing and reporting on LESS submissions from localities, remediation planning with localities, and considering, researching, and developing implementation plans for technology solutions that can rapidly secure potential vulnerabilities. Assess, propose, develop, and implement scaled and advanced cyber defense solutions and changes, perform in-depth security analyses, and provide solutions for remediation goals. Preferred: CISSP Certified Professional is a MUST NIST 800-53 Experience is a MUST.
