Position: DevOps Architect Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: Long Term Contract/FTE Note: We need a DevOps Architect with GCP Google Cloud Platform experience. Required Skills: Works with Senior Infrastructure Architect to understand the infrastructure designs and implement them on the GCP platform. Implement all aspects of GCP Infrastructure IAM, Security, Logging, Networking, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible. Works with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security (InfoSec), Application Development to enable the organization to move to the cloud using complete automation. VPC, Subnet, LB, Internet Gateway, Nat Gateway, Multi-AZ / Multiregional deployment and replication. Built VPCs from scratch, creating private and public subnets, security groups and network access lists, configuring Internet gateways, and NAT gateway. Cloud DNS, Different Load balancing configuration and management. Created business continuity/disaster recovery, fail-over and runbook documentation, identifying the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company. Work with Senior Infrastructure Architect to implement GCP architecture design leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) including Terraform. Create & maintain Terraform scripts for automated deployment of applications in GCP in a reliable and repeatable manner. Automates operational activities and tasks as needed. Work collaboratively with architecture teams to implement best practices for infrastructure and application deployments. Experience automating system administration tasks, deployments, and other repeatable tasks. Scripting experience with Python, BASH, PowerShell. Develops and tests Terraform Scripts, Ansible and jenkins pipeline. Experience with backup technology using HYCU, Actifio is a plus. Responsible for deploying web/application servers and database traditional servers in GCP. Manages, tracks and records system performance and utilization metrics. Manages the communication behind highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. Achieves development of information technology and infrastructure projects which support on/off premise and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions. Manages the internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. Manages company-wide, web-enabled and cloud-technology solutions.
