Project Manager Description The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager has responsibility for owning/managing the delivery of both large projects and keeping the stakeholders engaged and informed of progress along the way. Responsibilities Perform the full range of project management cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling, and closing. Establish a work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations or phases. Coordinate and track the activities of multiple vendors on a single project, to identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget. Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Delivery of well-organized communication and presentations and providing regular status reporting. Effectively run meetings and provide clear and concise meeting outcomes. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. Formulate risk mitigation strategies and recommend solutions Plan/Schedule/Track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations. Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Experience Demonstrated experience as the lead project manager implementing COTS software applications. Minimum 5 years experience in managing IT projects Demonstrated experience with agile planning such as Azure DevOps. Strong knowledge of project management tools and office software used to manage projects, such MS Project, Issue Logs, Scope Change Log, Resource Allocation Models, Financial Models, Cost-Benefit Analysis, ROI and measurement tracking models. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, team building and relationship management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills. Strong meeting facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to bring groups to consensus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Staffing industry experience and staffing solution expertise is not required but desired. Experience with staffing industry application is not required but desired. Education Bachelors degree.
