This is basically a coding exercise where candidate would need to code to a specification. The code would need to be checked in on the cloud and once it is completed , the candidate will let us know. NTT Team will review the checked-in Code and then call the candidate for interview. Interview would be mostly on the code and the choices made by the candidate while they were writing the code. There will also be generic questions asked to evaluate the clarity of the candidate on concepts. When Candidate clears the NTT Round , the code will be shared with the customer and then customer will screen the code . If they find everything ok , they will call the candidate to the customer round. If the candidate , clears the customer round , they will be selected. Customer is looking for a senior profile who has several years of experience and can articulate themselves well about the technologies , applications etc. etc. Please refer our JD. We are currently seeking a Senior Associate Software Engineer - API to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee (US-TN), United States (US). Job Description: The Senior Associate Software Engineer - API, will work as part of a team to design, develop, and manage digital API for Hilton mobile and web channels. This position will be expected to work within an agile framework, and collaborate with the creative team, technical team, and product leads on targeted features and functions required allowing Hilton to maintain its position as a leader in hospitality. Develop and deliver back-end assets for Hilton's mobile and web channels, including the following tasks: business rules changes in graph, Couchbase data and index changes, writing unit tests, bug fixes, build plans, understanding/communicate downstream service dependencies, and other supportive functions within the technical stack as needed Collaborate with the Core+ team, Platform Engineers, Distribution services team, Platform Architecture team, and product leads on targeted features and functions, offering technical guidance to help define requirements and implement solutions that meet business objectives Provide support to the team leads in the creation of diagrams, workflows, and any other artifacts necessary to clearly convey the intended design for new, more complex features Establish solid partnerships within the IT organization to ensure cross-functional alignment, to ensure clear understanding of a feature requests Help fill gaps throughout the development cycle to ensure we meet delivery expectations Lead and mentor new team members on the technology stack building up the core competency to increase the velocity of the teams Follow the defined agile methodology delivering industry leading web, mobile enabling solutions with best-in-class quality and performance Direct Reports: n/a What are we looking for The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: Having advanced knowledge in Graph, Apollo based patterns Have seasoned understanding of the business and industry environment Demonstrates exceptional initiative, creativity and innovation skills Independently applies a variety of complex methods/skills with significant autonomy Develops Client, customized solutions Introduces "state-of-the-art" concepts to develop back-end solutions Identifies ways to increase effectiveness of onboarding Works within other groups to develop methods for integrating their work into the project Research, shares, and implements new technologies to evolve the back-end stack and increase performance Identifies and communicates process/organizational improvements to increase overall organization effectiveness To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: Minimum Years of Experience: 10-12 Years of experience working with GraphQL: 2 Years of experience working with Node.js, Nest.js, Typescript: 2 Years working collaboratively with other team members: 4 Experience supporting sites on different browsers, operating systems, and devices Experience mentoring other technical team members Strong working knowledge of Atlassian Stack Strong working knowledge of agile methodologies Strong working knowledge of using Git as version control with a team Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence across organization boundaries Ability to balance competing demands Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in diverse locations It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: Education: BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training/experience Minimum Years of Experience: 10+ CMS integration experience The Company is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit and business needs.
