Job Description Job Title: Roobotic Prcess Automation (RPA) Administrator Location: Austin texas Hybrid-(ONLY 2 days onsite) Visa: Any visa Except H1B/CPT End Client : Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) Job Description: The RPA Administrator will serve in a technical leadership role, develop software robots and administer the RPA platform. The RPA Administrator will work cross-functionally with business partners to design, develop, implement, enhance and maintain software robots which work alongside humans to enhance business process efficiency. The RPA Administrator will also serve in an application administration role for the on-premises RPA platform ensuring the system remains current with respect to patches and upgrades, scheduling needs are addressed and change within the RPA ecosystem is well-managed. The RPA Administrator will work under the supervision and direction of IS Management. Stay abreast of evolving RPA technologies and work with business partners to identify automation opportunities Work with key business partners to evaluate automation opportunities and capture business requirements Provide automation guidance to non-technical business partners with automation process design Design, develop, test, implement and maintain software robots Create process and end-user documentation Install and test automation software upgrades Test the automation environment after installation of security updates Monitor unattended robots and coordinate support activities when bots fail Track and score proposed automations for feasibility of implementation and value using standardized RPA scoring tools and methods Track and manage automations as underlying enterprise systems continue to evolve (change management role) Work with IS Management to establish processes and standards to govern initial phase of Citizen Development Provide coaching/coordinate vendor training for Citizen Developers Support RPA deployments and troubleshoot RPA production issues outside of work hours (includes participation in an on-call rotation as-needed). Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work. Minimum (Required): Years Skills/Experience 3 Experience in a technical role. Able to design technical specification documents for RPA Projects Experience developing and consuming APIs. Experience with Agile development methodology. SQL knowledge and experience writing SQL for the Microsoft SQL Server environment. Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Understanding of workflow-based logic. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Superior time management and record keeping skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks and projects. Demonstrated use of a personal "trusted system" to ensure tasks are not missed and follow-ups occur. Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and complex troubleshooting methods. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to take initiative without always being directed. Must be detail oriented, action oriented, and capable of independently solving complex problems. Effective verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate in business language using an audience-centered approach and communicate across levels of the organization. Strong analytical skills, including the ability to think independently and grasp the "big picture" without losing sight of the details. Inquisitive in nature with a desire to gain a full understanding of business and technology operations as they relate to technology outcomes. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with MS Office tools. Preferred (Optional): Years Skills/Experience Experience establishing a structured project management office. 2+ Experience in any of the following programming languages: .Net., Java, Python, VB Script, C/C++. Basic programming knowledge of HTML, XML, PowerShell, JavaScript (or any other scripting language). Special Requirements/Work Environment Work is performed in an office environment. Performs on-call or scheduled after hours work as required. TERM OF SERVICE: Six months of service (990 hours) at client discretion. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION: M-F 8:00 5:00 PM, 200 E. 18th St, Austin, Texas 78701 **ERS is working 2 days at the office and 3 days from home.
