Role: Sr. ServiceNow Developer/Admin Location: Fully Remote (MST Hours) Client: Red8 (End Client: Sierra Space) Visa Type: USC Only Responsibilities Sierra Space Corporations ServiceNow Platform team designs, implements and supports services and offerings in the IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, and Human Resources Management space as well as supports shared development spaces in the GRC and Security Operations spaces. This Sr. ServiceNow Administrator will be a technical subject management expert responsible for the design, development, administration, and rollout of solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The Sr. ServiceNow Administrator will work with internal customers, Scrum Master, Technical Product Managers, and other system developers to design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements, fixes, integrations and configuration changes needed to support the enterprise. Specific Responsibilities Include Perform development and configuration of a variety of areas including, but not limited to Employee Service Center, Service Catalog, Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Release / SDLC, Asset Management, Human Resource Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Mobility and Reporting. Management of configuring, and utilizing the following ServiceNow technologies; Experience with Software and Hardware Asset Management Provide oversite and guidance for Employee Center Pro Provide support and development of, but not limited to: screen tailoring, workflow administration, flow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, automation and custom application development. Lead team to scope and design solutions and/or integrations for documented business and technical needs, with an emphasis on / preference for minimizing customization. Design technical solutions to address complex requirements, evaluate alternate solutions, identify the best option, and implement the solution. Design, develop and configure workflows, forms, scripts, and underlying logic using Scrum / Agile methodologies. Formulate and implement, when necessary, a QA/ATF strategy, with solutions for unit, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Contribute to design and coding standards for development teams to follow. Lead ServiceNow version and patch upgrades. Perform evaluation and rollout of new applications and solutions in ServiceNow both proactively and as requested. Build, rollout and support the technical framework to support distributed/shared development on the platform. Participate actively in discussion and planning for automation efforts on the platform. Analyze, troubleshoot, and remedy identified system issues to maintain a superior level of steady-state support Provide on-call support when Production issues occur. (very rare) Qualifications/Requirements Requires a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related areas. In lieu of Bachelors degree, extensive familiarity with the fields concepts, practices and procedures is required. 4+ years of experience working with IT Service Management solutions in an enterprise environment. 5+ years of ServiceNow development / implementation / administrative experience. Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Application Suite covering ITSM, ITOM and HRSD. Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.) Strong knowledge and experience with Workflow and Flow. Strong knowledge and experience with SecOps, GRC & IRM Strong knowledge and experience with ACLs, CSs, BRs, SIs and Glide Ajax best practices. Strong grounding in fundamentals of web application development (identity, security etc.). Experience working with structured data, schema, and databases. Experience integrating internal and external (SaaS based) applications using RESTful APIs, OAuth 2.0 and GraphQL. Strong knowledge of ITIL concepts. Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately. Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform. Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Work closely with team to plan, strategize and roadmap ServiceNow functionality to maintain and anticipate business needs. Familiarity with and ability to understand and follow the CSDM Comfortable leading in both technical and organizational context discussion Certified ServiceNow Administrator Certified ServiceNow Developer or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 Certification Desired Characteristics Relevant software development certifications. Micro Certs or certifications in other platform functionalities Experience maintaining version control systems Exposure to Identity Management and Single Sign on/Active Directory integrations Exposure/experience with Cloud integrations Exposure/experience with FedRAMP environment/integrations.
