Job Description: A well-known biotechnology company is seeking a GXP Lab Systems Engineer to join the Digital Organization in Norwood, MA (5 days week) reporting to the Director of Digital Lab Systems. The engineer will be responsible for implementing and supporting IT systems in GXP Lab and Manufacturing sites. The engineer will collaborate with the digital team to develop effective approach to integrate IT architecture into the labs. The engineer will join a tight knit team and partner with automation engineers, plant engineers, lab engineers, scientists, and operations teams to design, develop, and support the lab IT systems. As this is a GXP environment, the candidate must be familiar with the GXP process and the IQ/OQ/PQ Validation process for IT systems. In addition, the engineer will be assisting in business plans and disaster recovery plans for manufacturing and Lab Systems. It is important that the engineer has experience with implementing IT Applications and troubleshooting IT applications. Must Haves: Recent experience working in a pharmaceutical company 3+ years working in IT Infrastructure in manufacturing and lab systems Experience with lab systems such as: DCS, MES, BMS, PLC, OPC, HPLC, GC, LIMs, lab analyzers Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, physical science, or related field Experience working with RDBMS (SQL Server or Oracle) Plusses: Understanding of network routing, switching and firewall concepts Experience working with application and web server (IIS). Experience working with backup/recovery systems (Acronis, Veeam, N2WS, etc.) Experience working with Cybersecurity endpoint protection applications (Symantec, McAfee, Carbon Black, etc.) Keywords: information technology green card Massachusetts |
