Position:Network Engineers Location:Branchburg, NJ (Onsite Mon -Fri) Duration:Long term Job Description: The client needs two mid-level to senior-level network engineers to work on-site in their network lab. The engineer will work on-site to help their remote OEM team with things like installing network devices, running tests, setting them up, etc. The engineers must be on-site and help with smart hands. They must also have worked with MOPS before. They are looking for professionals who don't need much direction and are interested in long-term employment. Must have experience: Cisco and Nokia Hardware Installation Firmware Ability to effectively communicate/interact and support remote teams Experience: Network Lab environment experience Knowledge of Cisco N9k, Nokia 7750/7850 and Arista 7000/7200/7500 series of switches and routers Knowledge of Ciena and Juniper (we just started working with these two) Work tasks: Maintain network lab Install and cable network devices as needed Configure basic configuration of devices Able to follow provided MOP documentation to apply site like configurations when needed Provide onsite / smart hands support to the remote testing team, making config and cabling changes as needed Update network device firmware as required Coordinate with OEMs to install apps and virtual devices within the lab as required Secondary skills (nice to have, but not critical) Ixia familiarity basic setup Basic app deployment skills for install lab tools * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
