Programming experience (Python, Shell,JavaScript) 5 years experience of Splunkengineering/support in a production environment. This includes all phasesof lifecycle management: planning, design, deployment, upkeep and retirement Should have a developed competency withSplunk in a production environment Education, Training and/or Certifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science ora technical discipline. Position Summary and PrincipalResponsibilities: This role will be in Data ManagementDepartment on the Analytics Report & AI & ML Engineering team. The team maintains the firms reporting and analytics tools and infrastructure,but this position is primarily for working on Splunk tools including SplunkCloud, Splunk Enterprise, ITSI and Observability. As part of the Analytics Report & AI & ML Engineering team, thecandidate is responsible for: Working on engineering and developmentfocused projects from start to finish with minimal supervision Providing technical and operationalsupport for our customer base as well as other technical areas within thecompany that utilize our tools Risk management functions such asreconciliation of vulnerabilities, security baselines as well as other risk andaudit related objectives Administrative functions for our toolssuch as keeping the tool documentation current and handling service requests 24x7 on-call L3 support on a rotationalschedule with other team members Participate in user training to increaseawareness of Splunk Ensuring incident, problem and changetickets are addressed in a timely fashion, as well as escalating technical andmanagerial issues Following DTCCs ITIL process forincident, change and problem resolution.
