Preferred Microsoft certifications Job Description: We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as an IT Product Owner for Microsoft Teams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire Teams environment, including the backend, integrated applications, voice, softphone, meetings, and events. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of Teams within our organization. This role offers an amazing opportunity to define the strategy, roadmap, and maturity model for the Microsoft Teams Platform. To be successful in this role you will need to have hands-on technical knowledge of Teams Backend Enterprise administration and monitoring experience. Responsibilities: Manage the entire Teams Enterprise environment (30k users), including the backend, integrated applications, voice, phone systems, softphone, PSTN connectivity, direct routing, Teams Rooms, Teams Devices, chat, meetings, and events. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of Teams within our organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that Teams meets their requirements. Act as the primary point of contact for Teams-related issues, troubleshooting problems and providing solutions. Keep up to date with the latest developments in Teams and related technologies and make recommendations for improvements. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with Teams. Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to Teams. Qualifications: STEM Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT role, with experience in product ownership or management of Microsoft Teams or similar collaboration platforms. Microsoft Certified is a plus: Teams Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator certification. Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and related technologies, such as Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive and Azure.
