Basic Qualifications 4+ years experience on Drupal and setting up applications on AWS, Acquia, Pantheon. 3+ years experience in Varnish, Memcache, Redis, NewRelic, Elasticache, Apache Solr. 2+ years experience in SSO with OAuth, JWT. POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS : Why the Role is Important We are looking for a strong Drupal developer with Front End development skills and has worked in supporting Drupal environment including maintaining and managing business critical web applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong development, communication and collaboration skills and should be able to troubleshoot issues and provide fixes. Candidate must possess analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Once You Are Here, You Will: Work on Drupal 8 or 9 projects (on Drupal or Acquia) with hosting platform as AWS/Acquia/Azure/Pantheon. This would mostly be distributed environment. Setup docker based setup on local machine with CI/CD and help developers do the same Create Drupal custom modules using the Drupal API system and hooks from Drupal core systems Help developers resolving any tech challenges (Coding, Performance, Security, etc) towards completion of Jira tasks Create version control branches, merge branches using GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket Create pull requests, review the pull requests created by developers in the team, provide review comments using markdown, compare the code differences, resolve merge conflicts using GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket. Translate marketing and web site needs into Drupal specific recommendations and solutions Leverage Drupal, other state-of-the-art technologies, and integration patterns to solve cross-departmental challenges Work in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment Drive project scope and timeline definition based on collaborative needs assessments Design and improve internal development methodologies around Drupal solution Propose technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed those goals. Manage SDLC processes and associated artifacts. Design and code from specifications, analyzes, evaluates, tests, debugs, documents, and implements complex software apps. Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of Drupal core platform and integrate with E-commerce solutions and search engines. Integrate websites with web analytics tools and analyze/report on analytics data Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical problems related to content management such as search result accuracy, dynamic content linking, formatting, image scaling, internationalization, and personalization Preferred Experience: Strong various web applications such as PHP, MySQL, Drupal 7/8, Angular, HTML5, and JavaScript, Rest API s Expertise in client scripting language and server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, and Angular Experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders and colleagues Experience and desire to work within a fast-paced, iterative development environment, experience with Agile a strong plus Ability to write complex programs, analyze code changes and make suggestions to improve code complexity for maintainability and scalability.
