Design and validate PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB architecture for Zabbix v7 workloads. Build and support replication, failover, backup, restore, and recovery processes. Handle database sizing, growth, retention, indexing, and performance tuning. Validate database integrity during migration, testing, and cutover. Partner with application and infrastructure teams on Kubernetes-hosted database requirements. Establish standards for patching, monitoring, access, and production support.
