The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between software engineering and cloud operations by designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks that enable development teams to deploy secure, resilient, and highly scalable AWS services efficiently. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining AWS infrastructure using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), developing robust CI/CD pipelines, implementing cloud monitoring and observability, and supporting containerized application deployments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain complex AWS cloud environments using AWS CDK. Build reusable and scalable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks for consistent and repeatable deployments. Develop, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, testing, and release processes. Implement automated monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to proactively identify system issues and performance bottlenecks. Collaborate closely with software developers to containerize applications using Docker and deploy them in scalable cloud environments. Support and manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Apply AWS security best practices across infrastructure, networking, IAM, data, and application environments. Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, deployment, networking, and CI/CD issues. Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency. Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
