The candidate is not expected to have expertise across all AWS services. Required Experience Strong Kubernetes/EKS experience, including cluster/platform administration and troubleshooting. Strong hands-on Terraform / Infrastructure-as-Code experience. Experience provisioning and managing EKS/cloud infrastructure, rather than only deploying applications onto an already established platform. Good understanding of the AWS services and infrastructure components relevant to operating EKS. Key Focus Areas The key focus should be on candidates who have: Built EKS/Kubernetes environments on AWS. Managed EKS/Kubernetes environments on AWS. Troubleshot EKS/Kubernetes environments on AWS. Used Terraform on AWS for building and managing infrastructure.
