This Worker will act as a Business Analyst for the EVV Program. The Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Claims Management Division (CMD) is responsible for overseeing the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Program. EVV is a computer-based system used to document Medicaid service delivery visits by electronically recording the precise time a service delivery visit begins and ends. Texas requires EVV for certain Medicaid funded home and community-based services provided through HHSC and managed care organizations (MCOs). HHSC provides state-funded EVV systems and also allows for Medicaid providers to use their own EVV system if it meets applicable business rules and technical requirements. II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity. Years Required/Preferred Experience 5 Required Experience translating business needs into technical objectives and identifying solutions to satisfy the business need. 5 Required Experience reporting project status to management including risks, issues, and key decisions. 5 Required Experience identifying project risks and issues; and developing/implementing mitigation strategies. 5 Required Experience in effective general written/oral communication, including documenting requirements, deliverables, test scenarios and project status. 5 Required Experience utilizing business analysis skills and interacting with business end users and technical staff. 5 Required Experience performing review and approval processes of complex technical user and system requirements written by vendors. 5 Required Experience with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.). 5 Required Experience coordinating changes to user and system requirements. 5 Required Experience developing and executing test strategies. 5 Required Experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management software. 5 Required Experience performing testing, demonstrations, or quality assurance reviews to ensure software meets business requirements. 5 Required Experience utilizing the Agile methodology or other form of adaptive software development methodology. 5 Required Experience working in a team environment. 4 Required Experience with Medicaid systems or processes. 4 Required Experience with Texas Health and Human Services programs. 2 Preferred Experience with Electronic Visit Verification systems.
