The candidate should have hands on experience with automated testing, interfacing with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, current and voltage meters using LabVIEW or python. Test engineer should be comfortable working with multiple test setups, analyze electrical data, troubleshoot, and develop test plan and document test procedures and data. The candidate should be able to develop LabVIEW or python test programs / code from scratch to monitor, evaluate, display and record waveforms and signals in real time and perform typical electronics testing signal analysis processing and analysis. The Candidate should understand electrical circuits enough to be able develop test programs specs and codes based on schematic review and board testing / probing. Required: Electronic circuit Design Including Analog and Digital Electronics systems, Microprocessor and Controller, Active/Passive Component selection, Signal conditioning, Input/Output Filter design, Closed-loop control, Mixed signal designs, A/D and D/A, etc. Design and Control Algorithms of DC/DC and AC/DC Converters. Knowledge on communication interfaces CAN,I2C,SPI ,USB, RS485. Knowledge on Electrical Components Transistors ,Opamp, Sensors etc. Knowledge on PCB design software-PADs, PCADs, Altium Tools. Board bring up, PCB Testing, Troubleshooting using Lab Instruments Oscilloscope, DMM, Impedance /Network analyzer. Experience with circuit simulators (LTSPICE, PSPICE, etc.) Knowledge on Power Electronic devices MOSFET, SiC JFET, IGBT, SCR in design. Downhole Electronics design (High temp/High Vibration designs). Creating Technical documentation (Assembly Procedures, Tool catalogues, Test plans), Document designs, Specifications, Test plans, Revisions and Produce test reports. Qualification Testing (Pressure/Temp/Shock/Vibe/etc.) would be great for a Test role. Experience with components qualification testing and evaluation MATLAB for simulating (converter & inverter) - Added advantage Experience with LMWD/MLWD or Drilling tools design and troubleshooting - Added advantage Keywords: Texas |
