Job Description: Our client is in need of a full stack java developer with an experience in Accessibility for a long term engagement. Full Stack Java experience Java 11+/Kotlin, Springboot, Angular 8+ Experience serving as Accessibility Engineer Assistive Technology Tools: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver Experience in creating accessible digital experiences Modern Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, A & AA). Inclusive Design Familiarity with ARIA attributes for screen reader users Fluency in responsive engineering practices Screen reader familiarity (VoiceOver and NVDA preferably, JAWS if possible) Background in Angular Material also requested (Angular is used for component library) Knowledge of the following languages: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, WAI-ARIA Comfortable working on Apple / Macs Knowledgeable in Mobile Web Practices Ability to communicate with both technical and non technical teams Participate in Stand up Meetings Partner with Scrum Teams Keywords: Arizona Idaho Illinois Texas |
