| From: Krishna, Orchid Solutions Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] End Client: large financial institution Duration: 12+ Months Location: 100% Remote Project Size: 5 Hires Role: Senior & Expert Level ETL Developers as part of the Client Core US Team ROLE DESCRIPTION: Ab Initio hands on development experience Experience in development and support of complex frameworks to handle multiple data ingestion patterns Process Optimization/Performance Improvements in Ab Initio Must have hands on experience in Conduct IT. Extensive use of Plans in the every ETL tracks so this skill must for resources. Must have hands on experience in Control Center. Mandatory for all ETL tracks. Must have hands on experience in Express IT/BRE. Mandatory for FW and CARDS ETL. Working knowledge of loading and unloading tables with aid of Ab Initio Strong Knowledge of handling L3 production Support and root cause analysis Exposure to Ab Initio code packaging and deployments to higher environments Hand on experience in air commands Hand on experience in data commands Mandatory Skills: Candidate should be aware of performance optimization techniques- Data partitioning, phasing, component folding, routing, maxcore, paging, skew and controlling disk consumption. Candidate should aware of how to track production errors and provide guidance to support team to rollback failure with detailed analysis. Candidate should aware of how to check error, log and tracking files and understand errors. Must Have Skills: The candidate should have exposure to Ab Initio and he/she should be aware of Ab Initio architecture- GDE, Co>Op and EME. Candidate should have used or aware of basic components and its working - Reformat, Sort, Dedup, Join, Rollup, Scan, PBK, Partition by Round Robin, Output table, Update Table, Multi Update Table. Candidate should be aware of all type of parallelism and should have exposure to multi file system. Candidate should have exposure to PDL and metaprogramming. Candidate should have hands on experience in integrating data from different datasets like Oracle Tables, Flat files, CSV files or XMLs. Candidate should have hands on experience in loading and unloading data from and into tables. Candidate should aware of utility and API mode. Candidate should have working knowledge of Ab Initio object check in/check out, tag creations, tag deletion/updating, handling object versions and conflicts, creating save files and loading in higher environment. Candidate should have working knowledge of Ab Initio air commands e.g. air sandbox parameter, air sandbox run, air object versions, air sandbox diff Candidate should have working knowledge of Ab Initio air commands e.g. m_dump and options, m_wc Optional Skills: Hands on experience in Ab Initio code branching and merging (Multi-Lane Dev environments). Good to have: Candidate should be aware of branching concept in Ab Initio. Hands on experience in Metadata Hub. Mandatory for all ETL tracks. Hands on experience in Query IT. Good to have skill. Working knowledge of Ab Initio Web Service Call. All ETL tracks have this functionality but it has no change most of time. Exposure to Ab Initio continuous flows and MQ's.
