Scripting-Bash/Java Job Description Summary The Sr. Product Release/DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing, enhancing, package and deployment infrastructure and continuously expanding portfolio of medical device products. While playing a vital role in the day-to-day tactical execution of software development process you will also contribute strategically by helping to define and implement a release roadmap for continuous incremental evolution of best practices, frameworks, and technology. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Design, implement, and maintain Windows products software update management, windows patch deployment, and computer cloning/imaging infrastructure. Design, implement and maintain scalable package, build and deployment automation frameworks. Manage various vendors with hardware, software, and language translations. Device software installer development for multiple product and product versions. Define and maintain versioning, branching and merging plan for multiple parallel software releases. Administration and support for key software engineering platforms, utilities and tools. Additional Job Description Second Language The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, equivalent experience, or related field required. Five (5)+ years of experience or background in Enterprise IT technologies (Active Directory, NAT, Firewall, Windows update management, Software Deployment, Computer Cloning/Imaging, IP KVM, NAS). Five (5)+ years of experience in dealing with different vendors with both hardware and software. Three (3) + years of experience or background in DevOps, Build and Release Engineering with emphasis with traditional program languages (Java, C, C++, etc.). It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Hands on experience with building Enterprise IT infrastructure with emphasis on Windows device software update management, software deployment, and computer cloning/imaging infrastructure. (Microsoft Endpoint Manager, WUfB, WSUS, or others). Vendors management with hardware, software, and language translations. Experience with systems administration and IT operations (networks, security, IP KVM, NAS, IP/TCP NATTING, VMWare Vsphere, Proxies, PKI, etc.).
