Position: AWS DevOps Engineer Location: Fully Remote Duration: 12 Plus Months occasional possible travel to Dallas, TX or Akron OH Visa: USC/GC MOI: Video/Phone Responsibilities: Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing on the AWS platform Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on AWS Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS Build tools and processes to support the infrastructure Informally train and share AWS knowledge within the team Qualifications: 10 years of Windows and Linux Systems Administration experience 2 years of experience provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments AWS DevOps Engineering/AWS Certified Developer-Associate/AWS Certified SysOps Administrator-Associate Certifications are highly preferred Proficiency with AWS Services, including Compute and Network, Storage and CDN, Database, Analytics, Application Services, Deployment, and Management Experience with multi-tier architectures, including load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking Experience interacting with AWS APIs Experience in automation and testing via scripting and programming (TFS, PowerShell, Jenkins, Python, Ruby, Java) Experience with AWS Disaster Recovery design and deployment across regions is a plus Excellent team player with good analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills A highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter Bachelors Degree is preferred; equivalent real-world work experience will be considered Best Regards, Prajojita Biswal Technical Recruiter, Vyze Inc.
