JOBSUMMARY: TheSoftwareEngineer will develop information systems by studying operations;designing,developing and installing software solutions. This role requirescollaboration on a development team where new software solutionswill be developed that will interface with our current hardware designs. TheSoftware Engineer is responsible for programming and testing FinancialIndustry related applications and their maintenance and customer supportand certification. The idealcandidate will have creative engineering experience balanced with highquality and a customer focus. ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS: Develop softwaresolutions bystudying information needs; conferring with users;studying systems flow, data usage and work processes; investigatingproblem areas; following the softwaredevelopmentlifecycle. Determineoperational feasibility byevaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solutiondevelopment and proposed solutions. Document anddemonstrate solutionsby developing documentation, flowcharts,layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear concise code. Prepare andinstall solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standardsand programming. Improveoperations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policiesand procedures. Update jobknowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programmingtechniques and computing equipment; participating in educationalopportunities; reading professional publications;maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations. Protectoperations by keeping information confidential. Provide informationby collecting, analyzing and summarizing development and service issues. Collaboratewith the team to brainstorm and create new products. Workcollaboratively with others to achieve goals. Be apersistent, creative problem solver. Remain cool and effective in acrisis. EDUCATIONANDEXPERIENCE: Bachelor'sDegree in ComputerProgramming or similar field 2 years ofprofessional programmingexperience in C# using Microsoft Visual Studio Experience withScripting Languages,HTML5, Multi-Threaded applications, databases, AWS (or Azure)cloud-baseddevelopment a plus Solidunderstanding of objectoriented design and programming Experienceworking in an agileenvironment Experiencebuilding complex systemsthat have been successfully delivered to customers Experience withmission critical,24x7 systems Experience withprofessionalsoftware engineering best practices for the full software developmentlifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source controlmanagement, buildprocesses,testing and operations Eagerness andwillingness to learnnew technologies Experienceworking with ATMapplications and processors is a plus PHYSICALDEMANDS: Thesephysicaldemands are representative of the physical requirements necessary foranemployee to successfullyperformthe essential functions of the job.
