Position : Senior System Engineer Location : Jersey City, NJ Hybrid Duration : 6 month contract Visa : USC/GC Interview mode: Phone/Skype Job Description Candidate will be required to be onsite in our Jersey City, NJ office 1-2 days a week based on manager requirements Key Position Responsibilities Architect and design backup and recovery automation solutions Develop and deploy backup and recovery automation Develop and deploy backup system management automation Develop and deploy backup and recovery capabilities to VMware vCenter systems Integrate backup and recovery capabilities to databases Integrate backup and recovery solution to existing automation and reporting system Develop automation to support integration with various systems Assist with support and administration of existing automation tools Responding to automation incidents in a production environment providing level 3 support Maintain departmental documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 5 years experience developing automation with Ansible 8 Years' as a Linux systems administration experience 8 Years' as a Python automation developer/engineer Experience integrating backup and recovery solutions to backup VMware vCenter Experience integrating backup and recovery solutions to backup Oracle and SQL Server databases Experience using product API to automate and integrate functions Proficient in scripting languages (Python, PERL..) Hands-on experience implementation and supporting backup and recovery solutions Strong working knowledge of backup and storage infrastructure and how they are used to backup and recovery data Strong analytics skills and data management experience Excellent communication skills Preferred Qualifications Cohesity backup product experience Prior financial services or other highly regulated industry experience Best Regards Md.
