Position: QA Automation Engineer Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: Test automation .NET Development Environment and Framework (C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell) Utilize test automation tool, framework, language PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION The New Technology Division is growing and investing in a portfolio of products for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). The primary function of the Software QA Automation Engineer will be to support the migration to an automated test environment to ensure and on-time delivery of new products. As a member of the software team within Product Development, you will contribute to a highly motivated group responsible for software design, development and data analysis for client-driven programs and the integration of these technologies into core products or customer platforms. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of testing methodologies and test automation tools. The successful candidate will collaborate with peers, management, and end users to apply their skillsets toward solving technical challenges related to robust software delivery. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and will require proof of vaccination. (Exception is possible in the case of a disability or sincerely held religious belief.) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support full software development lifecycle in an agile environment Work closely with software developers to ensure full test coverage Strong programming fundamentals and automation experience Help define test approaches and strategy Write detailed test strategies and plans to assess best balance of efficiency and coverage Conceive, develop, and deploy Test Automation processes Collaborate with development team to build reliable end-to-end testing infrastructure DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT .NET Framework and languages (C#, ASP.NET, PowerShell) Testing methodologies C#, Python and JavaScript test frameworks Test automation frameworks (Ranorex, Cypress, Selenium, ALM or others) Design and develop tests, tools, and frameworks to reduce manual testing on web and non-web-based applications Design and develop UI, integration, regression, and performance testing to ensure products have complete coverage prior to launch and with successive builds Collaborate with development team to review user stories to determine appropriate test scripts and to troubleshoot errors Conduct code reviews using Bitbucket pull requests Develop, execute, and analyze output from scripts to capture performance metrics Support, maintain and continually enhance test case automation Work with project team to align hardware and software test schedules Log, track, and verify resolution of software defects Navigating Atlassian toolsets (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket) Keywords: csharp quality analyst user interface North Carolina |
